4^th of July parties are an American tradition. We spend time with our friends and family, honoring our country’s history with fireworks, food, and celebrations. Many people want to have their 4^th of July parties outside—and for good reason! But no one wants to be sitting outside if it’s brutally hot or raining. In the week before, keep an eye on the weather to see what it might be like the day of your party. If there is even the slightest chance of rain or uncomfortable weather, make plans to host your party inside.

Have patriotic decorations

A good party always has good decorations. Since it’s the 4^th, those decorations should be every bit red, white, and blue. And you don’t have to break the bank to do it. You can get 4^th of July-themed plates, tablecloths, napkins, and more for relatively cheap at your local Dollar Store.

Provide plenty of games and entertainment

Some people may just want to sit and relax, but others will want to stay moving, especially the kids! Make sure you have plenty of things to entertain your guests. Cornhole, baseball, football, and basketball are all classic games that people of all ages will enjoy. Plus, don’t forget to top things off with a firework’s show at the end of the night!
